Katie Brown is an experienced Physiotherapist and Clinic Director of Keele University Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Clinic (KUPRC), where she leads the development of student-led clinical, rehabilitation and health-promotion services. ​This session showcases KUPRC’s student-led Ageing Well programme, which combines regular strength and balance exercise classes with accessible educational talks designed to help older adults remain active, independent and informed about their health. Katie shares how the programme has developed, its impact on participants and students, and how embedding prevention and health education within student placements can benefit both clinical education and local communities. The session also considers the wider potential for student-led models to support healthy ageing, rehabilitation and preventative healthcare.
