The Merman & The Sailor (2024) | A Queer Fairy Tale Retelling of “the Little Mermaid”

Fairy Tale Todd here! And this Friday 10/4 I want to welcome to my first reimagining in a series of new short films!✨ 🌊🧜🏾‍♂️In this heartwarming genderbent reimagining of a classic tale, Prince Atlas, a curious merman, becomes enchanted by the world above and Atticus, a kind-hearted sailor. Risking everything to explore the surface and be near Atticus, Atlas discovers that love transcends all boundaries. This family-friendly short film celebrates courage, friendship, and the power of following one's heart, no matter the obstacles. . . #TheMermanAndTheSailor #GenderbentFairytale #FamilyFriendlyLGBTQ #queerlovestory #RepresentationMatters #shortfilms #underwaterworld #InclusiveStorytelling #ModernFairyTale #LoveIsLove #DiverseNarratives #MermaidMagic #IndieFilm #LGBTQArt #EmergingFilmmakers #QueerJoy #FairyTaleRetelling #AllAgesFriendly #ShortFilmFestival #InclusiveCinema #Ariel #Littlemermaid #littlemerman #ursula #flounder #mermaidtales #wholesome #shortfilm #fairytales #fantasy
