Our June Weed Patch area has been a reoccurring problem for many years and needed to be reclaimed. We brought in another 150 bags, 2 pallets, of bagged mulch last week. Before we could begin we had to weed whack our way through invasive quack grass which covered everything. Once we could find the plants we wanted to keep, we decided that this area was so problematic, we added 2-layers of weed barrier and topped the entire area with 3-4” of mulch. Hopefully, we now have an easier task in keeping these areas under control for several years. As you will see in this video it really made a difference and make it well worth the work, time and expense.
