Honey Bee Package Installation With Plastic Containers Saskatraz Honey Bees

The honey bees are in! In this video I go over my steps for installing my four package honey bees ordered from Mann Lake. I chose Saskatraz bees which I have read are good over wintering bees and good honey producers. This was the first time I ran into this type of honey bee shipping package being used to the old wooden boxes. I had to do some improvisation as I did not have any marshmallows to use to slow release the queen. I go over how to open the package remove the queen.
