Pavarotti Age 19 First Audition Lasted 4 Minutes Before They Said ‘THAT’S ENOUGH’—What Happened Next

Modena, November 1954. Nineteen-year-old Luciano Pavarotti, the son of a baker and a cigar factory worker, climbed the stairs to his first real audition wearing his father's only good suit, with every lira he had saved in an envelope in his pocket. He sang for exactly four minutes. Then the teacher raised his hand and said, "That's enough." Luciano ran out into the fog believing his dream was over. He rode his bicycle out of the city, sat on a bridge over a canal, and decided to give up singing forever. He didn't hear the end of the sentence. Not for fifteen hours. And what happened at four o'clock the next morning, in his father's bakery, changed the history of music. #LucianoPavarotti #Pavarotti #FirstAudition #NeverGiveUp #MusicLegends
