My 2022 Jeep Gladiator had one big problem: death wobble. Hit a bump at 70 mph and the front end would start shaking left and right like crazy. I'd already done the alignment, balanced the tires, and pry-barred every joint, so in this video I replace the steering stabilizer (damper). Along the way I find out the old one was dented, scuffed, and installed BACKWARDS by a previous owner.
This is a DIY driveway job with basic hand tools. Every Jeep is different, so treat this as what worked (hopefully!) on mine, not a guaranteed cure.

📝 QUICK NOTES
• Torque spec from the included instructions: 75 ft-lbs
• Orientation matters: the tube goes on the axle side and the ram goes to the outside. Mine was installed the other way around.
• A steering stabilizer can mask death wobble but usually won't cure it alone. Check your track bar, tie rod ends, ball joints, alignment, and tire balance too.
If this doesn't fully fix the wobble, I'll post an update with what we try next. Subscribe so you don't miss it!
