Don’t Let the Head Hide the Heart | Ramesh Bijlani & Mithu Pal

Taking cues from a devotional song, stanza by stanza, the speaker compares knowledge and devotion as two alternative keys for unlocking the door of arrogance. When knowledge fails, the poet turns to devotion. She is again faced with the dilemma of using a silver keychain or a golden one. The speaker argues what the two keychains correspond to and what the role of each might be. The lyrics of the devotional song, मेरे अहंकार की चाबी दो, are by Dr. Jaba Chakraborty. It has been set to music and rendered in a melodious voice by her sister, Dr. Mithu Pal.
