1/35 ASLAV Type 2: Baghdad’s Battle Bus | SECDET Build Part 2

The ASLAV Type 2 build rolls on! In Part 2, we focus on the stowage carried by the SECDET vehicles in Baghdad—and the field modifications that gave them their distinctive, heavily laden appearance. I make the sandbag and spall-liner armour from Milliput, add the various bits and pieces needed to bring the vehicle to life, and even turn the foil seal from a whisky bottle into an aircraft identification panel. Proof that drinking and modelling can occasionally produce something useful. With the extra armour and stowage fitted, it’s time to break out the SMS Paints and lay down the ASLAV’s disruptive camouflage scheme.
