According to the Department of Health Epidemiology Bureau on the HIV/AIDS and ART Registry of the Philippines in its January to March 2020 report, there were 2,818 newly confirmed HIV positive individuals. The number of reported cases from January 2015 to March 2020 has reached the total of 55,171.
Since SSU is one with the world and the DOH in the global AIDS campaign in conjunction to the WORLD AIDS DAY 2020 with the theme: "Ending the HIV/AIDS Epidemic: Resilience and Impact", the Student Welfare and Development Services conducted a Symposium on the Awareness on HIV/AIDS on December 9, 2020 at 3:00pm via Zoom and FB Live.
We have invited an advocate of HIV/AIDS and Women & Children's Rights and the Vice President of the Association of Positive Women Advocates Inc. (APWAI), MS. ELENA FELIX to discuss more about the topic.
Please click the link below for the ATTENDANCE / POST TEST/ EVALUATION of the AWARENESS ON HIV/AIDS. This attendance link will be opened until the end of this semester, for the benefit of those who were not able to attend the live stream.
