Watcher's Woods - Hope Is a Passive Wish

The third track of Watcher's Woods second and last full release, Decay, before forming Secret Shame. As far as I'm aware, this album was only distributed digitally. The image is indeed the actual cover of the album, and much of the band's promotional content involved photography of naturally occuring viscera and remains. The project was described as "anti-civ post-punk." Lyrics: As the burning rage rings out only to go underground, in a couple years what's left? The moment's pulse singing through our walls. Who's lost? Whose loss? Fires spread the words, char leviathan's armor, and you come to see it's more than skin peel away, feel yourself come undone. What's worse?
