AcuRental Training: Equipment Fueling, Routing & Scheduling Explained

In this session, we walk through how equipment fueling, routing, and scheduling can be managed through the Rental and Work Order Management modules in AcuRental. This process lets you fuel a rental item before or after shipment, and schedule multiple fueling events for a single rental order. You'll learn: ✅ Enabling the "Has Consumables" checkbox on a rental item to add fuel as a consumable ✅ Defining nonstock items and adding stock fuel items under the Consumables tab ✅ Creating a rental sales order and confirming customer address details ✅ How a work ticket (MFG transaction) is automatically generated for the work order, listing the fuel item ✅ Removing hold and allocating components to the work ticket ✅ Generating delivery routes for fuel via the Generate Routes form ✅ Reviewing route mapping, including work order, customer, and nonstock item details ✅ Viewing the delivery destination on the map using Route Mapping ✅ Releasing the MFG transaction once fuel is delivered/filled, closing the work ticket and work order ✅ Adding the fuel item to an existing rental sales order (or creating a new one) and proceeding with shipment This workflow shows how AcuRental and Work Order Management work together to streamline fuel consumable tracking, delivery routing, and scheduling — keeping fueling operations fully integrated with your rental process.
