#156-Improved 2.0 Version of The Double Tank Adapter ( DTA) For Independent Backmount Doubles Diving

In this video, we discuss an improved version of the Double Tank Adapter (DTA) for independent backmount doubles scuba diving. The previous version was constructed of high density polymer starboard. It also suffered from a requirement to offset the plate mounting studs and the STA mounting bolts. Version 2 is constructed of square aluminum tubing. It is more compact than that the previous version and the plate mounting studs and the STA mounting bolts are now aligned. This results in a far more aesthetic design overall. If aluminum STAs are used the overall weight of the system is minimal. We are going to make a small run of version 2.0 described in this video. The version with aluminum single tank adapters is $150 and the version with stainless steel single tank adapters if $190. These prices do not include the tank bands which are available for $25 a piece.
