Pirates of the Trade

IronTravelers presents “Pirates of the Trade” — a song about finishing another project and realizing you're right back where you started. For months, that job was your world. Same gate. Same crew. Same crane. Same problems. Same people standing beside you every morning. Then the last piece goes up. The job is finished. And almost overnight, everybody disappears. Some head home. Some already have another job lined up. Some start making calls before they even leave the parking lot. Then you're standing there with your bags packed, wondering: Where to next? That's where the compass comes in. North. South. East. West. Wherever the work is. Wherever the steel is going up. Wherever the overtime and per diem take you. We're like pirates of the trade — except our ocean is the interstate, our ship is a pickup truck, and the treasure we're chasing is another good job. Build it. Finish it. Pack it. Leave it. Find another. Do it again. We may scatter in every direction when a project ends, but sooner or later you'll see some of those same faces again. Another state. Another project. Another crew coming together. That's the traveling construction life. IronTravelers — Built by people. Driven by purpose. Same crews. Different towns. Bigger things. #IronTravelers #PiratesOfTheTrade #Ironworkers #Construction #SteelErection #TravelingConstruction #SkilledTrades #BlueCollar #Overtime #PerDiem #ConstructionLife #TravelingWorkers
