7. Schools of Wellbeing - ELC High School (Thimphu, Bhutan)

Our School of Wellbeing this month is ELC High School in the Himalayan country of Bhutan. ELC is our "lighthouse school" in Bhutan and its success in rolling out the Four Pillars of Wellbeing paved the way for our curriculum to spread across an entire city. ELC's example as a School of Wellbeing lead to the city of Paro, Bhutan becoming our very first City of Wellbeing. "Schools of Wellbeing" is a video series highlighting schools around the world who are successfully implementing the Contentment Foundation's "Four Pillars of Wellbeing" curriculum in their classrooms. www.contentment.org ----- The Contentment Foundation is an educational (501c3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower large educational and community networks to create safer, healthier and more psychological-well environments worldwide.
