The Forgotten Terror Below... Skyrim's "Evil in Waiting" | Quest, Lore, Theories, Explained!

In today's video, I wanted to run through the quest, Evil in Waiting, featured in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This mission begins with the Drgaonborn entering the Nordic Ruins of Valthume. Inside, you'll run into a spirit named Valdar. Valdar is the guardian of the dungeon. He explains that an evil lich named Hevnoraak is trying to return to the land of the living. The only way to stop this Dragon Priest from reaching maximum power is by recovering specific vessels within the tombs of Valthume. To get to those, the player needs to cut their way through hordes of draugr and frostbite spiders. With the vessels in hand, the Dragonborn can help Valdar perform the ritual that releases a weakened Hevnoraak. The only catch is that you still need to fight the Dragon Priest, and even weakened, the ancient Nord is still incredibly powerful.
