Four months ago, I had attempted to reach Sach Pass from the Chamba side, but the pass was closed and I was stopped at the security checkpoint. I had to turn back. This time, I decided to take a completely different route. Starting from Kishtwar, riding through the dramatic cliffside roads and Pangi Valley, with rain following me almost throughout the journey, the goal was simple: Reach Sach Pass. But mountain roads rarely go according to plan. Rain, slippery roads, waterfalls, mud, unpredictable weather and some of the most dramatic landscapes in the Himalayas made this ride a completely different experience.
