🎶 World Culture Festival Karachi 2026 – Day 7 | French Sufi Music, Pakistani Qawwali Fusion, National Anthem Workshop & Live Performances! 🇵🇰🇫🇷 Experience an unforgettable day of music, cultural exchange, and live performances at the World Culture Festival 2026, hosted by the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi! On November 4, 2026, I explored the festival's seventh day, featuring French musicians, Pakistani musical traditions, emerging local talent, an interactive vocal workshop, and the extraordinary performance SAMA: UN AUTRE SOUFFLE by Joanna Senem Goodale. Join me, Arshan Jumani, as I take you inside one of Karachi's exciting international cultural celebrations! 🎤 1. ZAKARIA HAFFAR – VOCAL & NATIONAL ANTHEM WORKSHOP 🇫🇷🇵🇰 Our musical journey began at Studio 3, Arts Council Karachi, where French vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Zakaria Haffar conducted an engaging vocal workshop. The session explored singing techniques, musical notes, rhythm, and polyphonic singing, with Pakistan's National Anthem used as a practical musical example. Discover how music brings people from different cultures together through one shared language! 🎙️ 2. OPEN MIC – EMERGING MUSICAL TALENT We also experienced spontaneous live performances by emerging artists showcasing their voices and musical abilities. These moments highlighted the creativity, confidence, and passion of rising talent in Karachi's vibrant arts community. 🎹 3. SAMA: UN AUTRE SOUFFLE – JOANNA SENEM GOODALE 🇫🇷 One of the day's most memorable experiences took place at Auditorium 1, Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi. French artist Joanna Senem Goodale presented SAMA: UN AUTRE SOUFFLE, a soulful musical experience bringing together Western classical piano, Sufi musical inspiration, and Pakistani classical traditions. The performance explored the meeting of Eastern and Western musical expression, celebrating spirituality, artistic collaboration, and the universal power of music. 🎼 4. FRENCH MUSIC MEETS PAKISTANI SUFI & QAWWALI TRADITIONS Experience the beautiful fusion of French musical expression and the rich sounds of Pakistani Sufi and Qawwali-inspired music.
