-------------/------------ ✨ LOOKING BACK ON THE JOURNEY OF VIETNAMESE ÁO DÀI – FROM NATIONAL HERITAGE TO A BRIDGE FOR GLOBAL INTEGRATION On the morning of March 18, 2026, within the nostalgic and inspiring space of the Áo Dài Museum, a meaningful journey unfolded—where the Vietnamese áo dài was not only honored as a national heritage, but also embraced as a cultural bridge connecting Vietnam to the world. The talk show “Vietnamese Ao dai – A National Heritage of Viet Nam in International Integration”, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and the Department of Foreign Affairs, brought together distinguished voices: leaders of key organizations, Consuls General and their spouses, designers, artisans, international students, and members of the press. 💬 Looking back at a thought-provoking dialogue, the áo dài emerged not merely as a traditional costume, but as a true “cultural ambassador”—carrying stories of identity, history, and Vietnamese spirit across borders. Diverse perspectives and insightful discussions highlighted its enduring vitality and adaptability in the modern era. 💬 Looking back at emotional experiential moments, the workshop “Áo Dài and Flowers” became a meaningful cultural touchpoint. For the first time, Consuls General, their spouses, and international students had the opportunity to paint directly on fabric and traditional conical hats—each brushstroke reflecting not only creativity, but also connection and cultural appreciation. 💬 Looking back at heritage-inspired showcases, the collections each told their own unique stories: “The History of Vietnamese Áo Dài” retraced the evolution of the national attire, presented by students from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture. “Heritage in Heritage” by designer Trung Đinh offered a refined fusion of tradition and contemporary spirit. “A Thousand Years of Vietnamese Grace” by Peony & Iris captivated with its elegance, softness, and cultural pride. All together, they created a vivid tapestry—where the áo dài is not only preserved, but continues to write its story of global integration through its timeless beauty and profound cultural depth. #LehoiAodaiTPHCM2026 #soitovangsondetnenkhatvong #dulichthanhphohochiminh #VibrantHoChiMinhCity #hcmcaodaifestival #GoldenThreadsWeavingAspirations #visithcmc #March2026
