Taylor Kinney & Miranda Rae Mayo chat 300th episode of ‘Chicago Fire’

For 15 seasons, the firefighters and paramedics of Firehouse 51 have brought viewers intense rescues, emotional storylines and plenty of drama. Now, NBC’s hit series Chicago Fire is reaching a major milestone with its 300th episode, marking an incredible run for the popular television drama. Since its debut in 2012, Chicago Fire has grown into a major part of NBC’s One Chicago franchise, connecting audiences through stories of courage, friendship and the bonds formed between first responders. And while the emergencies keep coming, it’s the relationships among the crew that have helped keep fans invested season after season. The milestone episode, titled “Three Hundred,” airs Wednesday, November 4, at 9 p.m. on KPRC 2. But this celebration comes with an emotional moment for longtime fans: the episode is expected to serve as a farewell to Joe Cruz, played by Joe Miñoso, who has been part of the Firehouse 51 family since the show’s early days.
