Welcome to my warmup ✨ ~ Real ballet core is showing up for yourself. I’m very tired of seeing aesthetic vids of the frilly, frouffy exterior of what it is to be a ballet dancer. You don’t need the “perfect” body. You don’t need expensive outfits or equipment. You don’t need to wear makeup. You definitely don’t need to shave. (But maybe shower). Show up for yourself, put in the work, and maybe one day you’ll discover the messy, bloody, sweaty, toenails-falling-off aesthetic that goes into this beautiful art form.
