Mount Kilimanjaro is the famous African Mountain In Tanzania at 5,895 meters above sea level and which is the highest mountain in Africa.The mountain touches the clouds of the African sky, which is the breathtaking peak of this part of the world. The ascent begins in a savanna, taking intrepid travelers through lush forest on the mountain’s lower slopes, rising through picturesque glades, and finishing with an exhilarating walk along the knife-edge of Meru’s (dormant) volcanic crater rim. Actually, the hikes are geared more toward hikers than climbers. Along with this, the paths lead travelers over an array of landscapes, brimming with elephants, giraffes, and buffalos. Mount Meru is also climbed all year-round, but it’s best to plan your trip during the dry season, from June to the beginning of March. #3. Ol Doinyo Lengai (2962m). Have you really, ever thought of yourself as brave enough to climb an active volcano?  If so, then Ol Doinyo Lengai offers you a chance of a lifetime!  At a prime location in the eastern Rift Valley, this fiery peak offers astonishing and breath-taking views. The impressive Mountain in Tanzania, which dominates the whole plain, represents a great beauty due to its peculiar, almost perfect conical shape of about 1,600m base diameter, and with the summit at 2,768m  above sea level. Its slopes have been formed by compacted ash for many years, and its deep ravines, cracks, and white lava flows are clearly visible from any spot, giving it an inhospitable and majestic appearance at the same time.
