I Spend 2 Weeks Making Videos Nobody Watches

In my 30s, I started a YouTube channel, and somehow I now spend roughly two weeks making each video for an audience that, technically, barely knows I exist yet 😅 That’s more or less where I am at this point as a small YouTube creator. Every upload takes more time, thought and energy than I initially expected. I write, I film, I edit, and make countless of tiny decisions along the way that probably nobody will see. And then the video’s live, and I’m left staring at a few hundred views and analytics, trying to understand what they’re supposed to show me. So this film is basically me trying to understand what it feels like to make YouTube videos SERIOUSLY before there’s much of an audience for them 🫢 Perhaps it’s the most interesting phase of my journey; we’ll see!
