EN: Another one salvaged from abandonment, this Sony MHC-EC69i used to belong to one of my friends at work; he sold it to me for 10 bucks but god, this thing was in poor condition. Bringing it home it entered into protection, but my friend told me its amp was fully working and he was right: the actual issue was with the iPod dock, which was toast thanks to the nasty stuff inside it which also damaged a rectifier diode in the process. I exchanged the dock with one from a MHC-EC79i which has a decorative "Made for iPod" light, and now has unique and improved styling. After some more work and repairs, it is now 100% functional. #audio #sony #genezi #ipods
