Doobie Powell Praise Break (More tubepac goodness)

Another demo of the techniques broken down in the shout techniques video. Really can't say enough good things about this art tube pac. Of all my pre's I would say this and the presonus tubepre were my favorite. I dialed back the output and cranked the gain to get the pre section a little fuzzy and dialed in some heavier compression. The compressor has a way of sounding a way I need it to without much fuss. I has that perfect brick wall type, 10lbs of bass in a 5lb bag kind of compression that is just perfect. Most inexpensive mic comps would give you enough to put a squeeze on your signal and still remain musical but this one is very nice. You can really hear it squeezing at 3:39 simply lovely.
