Rain Check | Autumn Soul & R&B • Female Vocals

Sometimes the first step is answering a friend. “Rain Check” is a warm autumn soul and R&B song about declining one invitation too many, then finding the courage to say yes. Intimate female vocals, brushed drums and mellow Rhodes follow a small journey from the sofa to the front door. For quiet evenings when company feels difficult—and might be exactly what you want. “I’ve been saying “rain check” every time you call. Tonight I think I’ll take my coat down from the wall.” Who makes it easy for you to show up as you are? Subscribe to Sound Beyond for more intimate soul and R&B songs. #AutumnMusic #SoulMusic #RnB
