Operation and Care of the Bell & Howell 16mm Sound Projector

In 1907, two projectionists named Bell and Howell formed a company to develop and manufacture motion picture machinery. In 1934 they produced the first light weight amateur 8mm camera with a film cassette allowing for daylight loading and unloading. Eastman Kodak introduced 16 mm film in 1923, as a less expensive alternative to 35 mm film for amateurs.
