📅 Mudhākara Date: October 6th, 2026 Part 2 In this segment, Sidi Shaykh spoke about why the ʿItra are the Religion itself and why holding fast to them is the safeguard of the Sunna. He explored subjects such as: Why the Āl and the ʿItra of the Prophet ﷺ are the Religion (al-Dīn), and why removing them removes the religion. Why a Sunna received only through chains of transmission (ʿanʿana) remains acquired (kasbī) and open to doubt. Why not a single sermon of the Prophet ﷺ has been preserved, even though it would carry the spoken, the practiced, and the approved Sunna together. The Sunna flows through the ʿItra by heart-borne subtlety (laṭāfa qalbiyya), not by transmission, because Allah left them upon their original nature (fiṭra). The Prophet ﷺ left the ʿItra “after” his time, while his Companions belonged to his own time Holding fast (tamassuk) to the Book and the ʿItra together protects one from deviation. Who the purified (al-muṭahharūn) are, and why only they attain proximity to the Protected Book (al-Kitāb al-maknūn). The Qurʾanic verses on the Ahl al-Bayt need no interpretation (taʾwīl) or independent reasoning (ijtihād), since the matter is entirely from Allah.
