Seven Games, One Dream — The Valkyries' Championship Run

From the two seed with home-court advantage to WNBA champions, this is the Golden State Valkyries’ run through the 2026 WNBA Finals, Game 1 to Game 7. The Valkyries took on the four-seed Atlanta Dream in the 30th edition of the Finals, with Ballhalla behind them for a best-of-seven series that had everything. Golden State won Game 1, Atlanta took Games 2 and 3, and the series came down to a pivotal Game 4 in Atlanta. The Valkyries responded with blue-collar hoops, doing whatever it takes to win, and a big Kiah Stokes shot helped set up a win for the history. After Game 6, the Finals headed to a first-ever Game 7 in the Bay, and the Valkyries finished the job to become the 2026 WNBA champions. The recap closes with a message about believing in each other and the culture of good people and winners the team built together. Nothing carries over, the Valkyries said along the way, and that next-game mentality carried them all the way to a title. 🔔 Subscribe for highlights, pressers, and everything Golden State Valkyries.
