We Were the LAST Jeep in Bhadra Safari And Then THIS Happened!

Riding from Thirthahalli through the beautiful, misty Malnad rainforest belt during the peak monsoon to explore the Lakkavalli Wildlife Zone inside Bhadra Tiger Reserve. Despite starting our 4:30 PM evening safari late due to jeep delays, we became the absolute last vehicle inside the reserve. The thick green monsoon grass made wildlife tracking incredibly challenging, but we got incredibly lucky and crossed paths with the famous resident leopard, Butterfly! We also had a massive surprise encounter with an Indian Gaur in the fading twilight.
