Nice and Games -- Game Wave (system overview)

Everyone's favorite game console, the Game Wave! I know this wasn't really a big success commercially, but I don't think it was because it sucks. I actually think they had an idea (family friendly multiplayer games) and really succeeded in making a console to meet that goal. They don't have a lot of hidden sneaky costs, like extra accessories or controllers being needed, because it comes out of the box with 4 controllers/remotes (and you can get 2 more for SIX player games.) It also comes with standard a/v cables but also an s-video cable, which granted, doesn't cost that much, but it is a nice touch. And it comes with a trivia game playable by up to six people at once! I Should've been more clear in the video, but this trivia games allows six players to compete at one time on the same questions, and you get more points by answering faster (and correctly, of course.) There is a video on YouTube that shows some TV personalities giving it a try. Not the best video, but you can see how it works. Now, do I play this thing often? Nope. Rarely, if ever. lol But that's not because it's bad, it's just that the games are really made fo multiplayer. It is a nice console to have in a collection though, just because it should be reasonably cheap, and there aren't that many games for it, if you decide to collect them all. I haven't decided if I want to collect them all yet. lol It must be really difficult to try and introduce a new piece of gaming hardware. But I think this is actually a good system, for the games it has. They are solid titles with good production values and might be the perfect thing for families or if you have a lot of friends who like trivia or word games. Should you buy it? I have no idea. If it's cheap, you might want to give it a look. :)
