Green Day - Alison (Nimrod Mockup Outtake)

Hello everyone. It's been a while since the last outtake. Life gets busy unfortunately but we're back to bring you a recreation of the lost band version of Alison from the Nimrod sessions. Only a 30 second clip of the original has surfaced online and I tried to recreate how it would sound if released in full. You can find the snippet here:    • Green Day - Alison (Band Version - Snippet)   Originally, this mockup outtake was uploaded onto St. Jimmy's Stuff's channel back in 2024. He did the guitars while I did the drum track and the bass with my stingray. This time, I've done the guitar track as well. Instead of my stingray, I used my P-bass for this, giving it a closer sound to Nimrod's tone. This wasn't officially uploaded onto my channel and was technically not a part of the Season 1 tracklist of Green Day Outtakes but I have decided to officially have it be part of it. You can find the original mix we did here:    • Green Day - Alison (Nimrod Outtake)   Mushy made an awesome cover for it, something I wasn't expecting him to do. I was originally just going to use the cover already made for the single but he just sent me one he made earlier today. I mean, hey, I'll take it. Many thanks to him and to St. Jimmy's Stuff as well for the mixing job on this. It sounds a lot better than the original mix we made a couple years ago. Hope you enjoy. Bye now.
