We're back on the barn roof this week, and Sam is determined to tackle the one section that's been causing us problems from the start! With the last of the ridge work to finish and that incredibly awkward hip still out of reach, we had to come up with a rather interesting scaffolding solution to finally get Sam where he needed to be. Thankfully, it worked and we're another big step closer to getting this roof completely finished. With the roof work progressing, we also made a start on the soffits and for a little while it felt as though we might actually get everything done… but, as is so often the case here in the west of Ireland, the weather had other ideas! Still, it's lovely to see another big job ticked off the list and the barn looking more and more complete.
