Postcard from Ashcombe 5

Thank you to all subscribers to Postcards from Ashcombe. Your support and encouragement are most appreciated. In our fifth postcard the two wagonloads of household coal delivered a few days ago to Dowdle's, the coal merchant based in the yard at Ashcombe, have been unloaded. Today the daily local pick-up goods calls at Ashcombe to collect the empty wagons.
