Life’s Worth is the new full-length album from the American band Torturous Inception, hailing from Staten Island, New York. Independently released on August 28, 2026, it marks the band's return after years of sporadic singles and stands as their first full-length release since Arcane Dominion (2018). The band plays technical/brutal death metal with a strong emphasis on progressive slam elements (also described as progressive slam metal). Their sound combines the signature brutality of the NYDM (New York Death Metal) scene—featuring heavy breakdowns, guttural vocals, pig squeals, and dense riffs—with more technical, progressive, and dynamic sections.
