Iceland Volcano Eruption Update; New Lava Flows, Cyclical Activity

Cyclical activity is ongoing at Iceland's still erupting Reykjanes volcano. This has involved periods of visible lava spattering followed by periods of no or little lava effusion. Such cycles have occurred 10 times during the last week, and as a result, new areas have been covered in fresh molten rock. Today's video will discuss what exactly is happening, and elaborate on why you should not stand on any lavas this volcano or its neighboring Fagradalfjall volcano have erupted in the 21st century. Also, the Blue Lagoon and the town of Grindavik are both open to tourists at the present (at least when this video was published).
