I Wanted Stability, but God Kept Telling Me to Move

After relocating across the country three different times, I’ve learned that following God doesn’t always lead to a comfortable or predictable life. As I pack for another move, I’m processing the grief of leaving what has become familiar while also making room for the new thing God is doing. I wanted a settled life, but God has continued teaching me how to live a surrendered one. Sometimes becoming requires us to loosen our grip on the people, places, and seasons we love so we can receive what God has for us next.
