Traversing a line of basalt through a sea of granite like I’m playing the world’s highest-stakes game of The Floor is Lava. Things were going smoothly until my foot decided to take an unscheduled slip in the middle of the line. Pretty sure my abdominal muscles fused together permanent-style just to keep me attached to the rock. And that top-out had me negotiating hard (could have figured better beta).
