PRAY, PREPARE, AND POSITION YOURSELF!

Are you doing the groundwork, researching, gathering information, acquiring the necessary skills, assessing feasibility, and counting the cost? Prayer is essential, but preparation is also part of the process. Do not let the opportunity you have prayed for meet you unprepared! “Then the king said to me, ‘What do you request?’ So I prayed to the God of heaven. And I said to the king, ‘If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, I ask that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ tombs, that I may rebuild it.’” Nehemiah 2:4–5 NKJV Nehemiah prayed for success and favour before the king. But when the opportunity came, he was prepared! He knew what he wanted, where he needed to go, and what it would take to accomplish the assignment. He had done the groundwork and was ready to answer the king’s questions. While you wait on God for that opportunity, are you preparing for it? As you trust God for that next level, begin to do the groundwork. Seek knowledge, make plans, and position yourself for what you are asking God to do. May the Lord grant you wisdom to prepare, favour to gain access, and grace to fulfil His purpose for your life, in Jesus’ name. Amen! WAIT WISELY. PRAY FERVENTLY.
