The remaining examples in good condition on the market are slowly becoming more and more rare. A kind gentleman in Germany sold me this watch that had seen better days. He told me it was his first watch and allowed me to attempt a restoration. In this video I brush, polish and clean the case and the bracelet, lubricate the seals, bezel and crown thread and replace the glass with a sapphire crystal that has red/purple antireflective coating.
