AM I BLESSED OR NOT? | Rev. Subrat Nayak
📖 Bible Reference: Psalm 73:1–3
Have you ever looked at the lives of others and wondered, “Am I really blessed?” Sometimes we see people who seem to prosper, succeed, and enjoy life, while we are facing struggles, delays, and difficulties. This can make us question God and even doubt our own blessings.
In Psalm 73:1–3, Asaph openly shares his struggle. He knows that God is good to His people, yet he becomes envious when he sees the prosperity of the wicked.
This sermon, “Am I Blessed or Not?”, explores the danger of comparing our lives with others and teaches us to look beyond what is visible.
🙏 In this message, we will discover:
What does it really mean to be blessed?
Why do we sometimes feel unblessed when others appear to prosper?
How comparison can affect our faith
Why material prosperity is not the ultimate measure of God’s blessing
How to trust God even when our circumstances seem unfair
Where true blessing is found
📖 Psalm 73:1–3
“Truly God is good to Israel,
To such as are pure in heart.
But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled;
My steps had nearly slipped.
For I was envious of the boastful,
When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.”
The message of Psalm 73 reminds us that our blessing cannot be measured by comparing our lives with someone else's life. What we see is temporary, but God’s presence and faithfulness are eternal.
✨ You may not have everything you want, but if you have God, you are truly blessed.
