Diane Schatz - Rodeos, truck stops and horsepower

Diane Schatz is a strong proud woman. She is the mother of three grown-up children and the grandma of seven. She also happens to be the mother of the greatest Sprint Car Driver since Steve Kinser. That in itself brings a fascinating life for many reasons. There are some incredible highs, and some unique challenges that come with being Donny Schatz’s Mom. I recently spoke to her in the lead up to the first annual Danny Schatz Memorial for 305 Sprints that honors her late husband .
