We highlight the extent to which the former prison director, retired Brigadier General Jamila Khalifa Al Zaabi, engaged in deception and misrepresentation during her appearance on a television program. Among the most significant practices taking place in the Dubai women’s prison—with the knowledge and consent of the prison administration—are lesbian relationships and the "lesbian mafias" that operate there. We also expose the dishonesty in Ms. Jamila’s accounts regarding the conditions of the inmates and the disciplinary measures imposed upon them. This episode serves as a historical testimony, revealing what truly goes on inside the women’s prison in Dubai.
