When ThyssenKrupp Travelators go bad…

Don’t get me wrong, I like ThyssenKrupp a lot. But these travelators / moving walkways are definitely not their finest installations. Installed in 2014, 3 out of 4 are completely dead and the working one rattles and shakes like crazy, making some very strange noises as if it is about to fall apart! Travelator - 0:30 **Despite there being 2 TKE service vehicles parked outside on the day I recorded this, even a up to a week later none of the others worked. They should be in much better condition, they’re an outdoor friendly heavy duty type! All of the escalators here in the metro’s areas of Amsterdam Central Station are ThyssenKrupp too, they work just fine. So it’s just a dodgy set of travelators… Enjoy!
