Pt Swapan Chaudhuri: Tabla Solo - Part Two

Continuing the two-part series featuring Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri in a tabla solo recital at the FEA-curated Crossroads festival in Manipal, the maestro performs a variety of amazing compositions and kaidas, replete with raos, relas, some gats (dahej gats), fard, some tukada variations, chakradars and a whole lot more. This video is a veritable treasure trove for the student of tabla and rasikas of the tabla alike. Swapan-da was accompanied by Murad Ali Khan on the sarangi. The event was co-presented by First Edition Arts in association with Sangeeth Sabha Udupi.
