Modding a Legendary Thinkpad to bring it Back to Life

I've always wanted a ThinkPad with the classic 7 row keyboard but could never justify the obscene prices that they normally go for but I managed to find this Leovo Thinkpad X220 for about 75$, which is still high but the 2nd lowest listing on eBay at the time was ~150$. The only problems was it was missing battery, storage and a couple screws. That wasn't a big deal to me because I was planning on upgrading it anyways.
