The Absolute Failure of Zack Snyder's Watchmen

Watchmen. Considered my myself and many others to be the greatest comic ever mad, it's impact on comic books and the superhero genre as a whole can not be understated. Zack Snyder's 2009 film adaptation of this classic however isn't even a tenth as great or impactful. One of the worst adaptations of any writing I've ever seen, despite replicating so many things from the comic, it doesn't understand what made Watchmen so great to begin with. Today I'll be talking about why Watchmen 2009 fails so much as an adaptation to the original source material, whether it comes to the characters, visuals, ending, and more, and why this is so disgraceful to the original source material.
