But almost no one talks about what comes after: the moment the novelty wears off and you realize this isn’t a vacation anymore. It’s your everyday life, and now you have to decide what that life looks like. I’ve hit this emotional wall after every international move I’ve made, in the UK, France, Portugal, and again now.
