Västerås Sweden - The port city to lake Mälaren | Time lapse

Västerås is a city by the lake Mälaren and it is located 90 km northwest of Stockholm and has the biggest lake port in scandinavia. The city dates back to medieval times and has castle built in the 12th century and a cathedral built in the 13th century. It was here the company ASEA was founded in 1883 which merged with Brown, Boveri & Cie in the 1980's and formed the multi international corporation ABB. The world wide famous clothing chain H&M was founded here in 1947 and the city has a University.
