Dimitri's Funeral [David & Erica] August 6, 1999 All My Children

David reads Dimitri's obituary in the newspaper and wonders how Erica is coping with the funeral. Erica joins Edmund and the rest of Dimitri's family and friends at Wildwind following his funeral. She snaps at Brooke and is disdainful when Alex tries to engage her in conversation. She makes a toast to Dimitri but then explains tearfully to Myrtle that Wildwind was now just a part of her past. Her hopes of someday reconciling with Dimitri are now gone, along with him, and it's time for her to move on. She goes straight to David and breaks down when he asks if she's okay. He comforts her and offers to spend the rest of the day taking care of her.
