During Adelaide's Glenelg Tram Line Shutdown, three different replacement bus routes operated along the corridor to keep people moving. In this video, we start off by heading to Oaklands Station on the Seaford Line, which many people used as an alternative rail option during the shutdown, resulting in carpark overcrowding. Following this, we take a look at the construction around Jetty Road in Glenelg, before boarding a GLN1 replacement bus for the all-stops journey back into the city, passing by some of the elevated tram line construction sites along the way. The newly elevated and upgraded Glenelg tram line officially reopened for passenger service on Australia Day 2026. This video was filmed the previous month, during the final stages of the shutdown and construction.
